Writing Practice is a 5-week, drop-in online, generative writing workshop where we spend time free-writing with suggested topics and structured prompts.
Time & Location
Tuesdays in October, 6-7pm

About the event
We will spend our time free-writing with suggested topics and structured prompts as we build up a bank of raw material to reflect on our the material and intangible conditions of our lives, as well as what is most important to us. Some of us will use this to craft poems, stories, and other personal writing, others of us may prefer to write with no future agenda of output. Each session will include the opportunity to read one’s drafting aloud. We will take inspiration from the writings of Cory Muscara, former monk and meditation teacher, to better see all the parts of ourselves as we write about:
October 1: What If/Fear
October 8: Soul Purpose
October 15: Insecurity & Healing
October 22: Confidence vs People Pleasing
October 29: Worthiness & Truth
